How we deliver
A seven-stage method. Each stage has an objective, verifiable deliverables and an agreed acceptance criterion. Exit (reversibility) is planned from day one.
How we deliver

- Understand the problem, the context and the risks before proposing any technology.
- Deliverables

- Acceptance criterion
- Each phase meets its criteria before the next begins.

Verification
- Objective

-
Handover
- Objective
- Hand over data, knowledge and operations at the end of the contract or under the conditions it sets.
- Deliverables
- Complete exit package
- Handover record
- Acceptance criterion
- The client confirms receipt of the exit package and the agreed handover.
Reversibility: exit is part of the project
Exit is planned from the start. Every service sheet includes an exit package with its own deliverables, set out in the contract and updated before exit.
- Data and export formats
- Complete data in open, documented formats, with an inventory and checksums.
- Documentation
- Complete documentation of configurations and network architecture, with up-to-date operating and recovery procedures.
- Configurations
- Exports of the configurations of systems and equipment dedicated to the client.
- Responsibilities
- Who does the work, who approves it and who is accountable for each component, before, during and after the transition.
- Licences and contracts
- Transfer and regularisation of the associated licences and contracts, with the holder of each. Nothing is transferred that the contract does not allow, such as third parties' intellectual property or their models.
- Knowledge transfer
- Hands-on sessions and support for the incoming team.
Clear responsibilities
- Client
- Sets priorities, approves criteria and accepts deliverables.
- IP World
- Coordinates, delivers and records the evidence for each stage.
- Specialist partners
- Where needed, named in the proposal, with their own responsibilities.
- Independent audit
- Where required, carried out by an organisation independent of IP World and its delivery partners, engaged by the client or by whoever the client designates.
